i Light Marina Bay 2018 has returned for the sixth time with 22 installations dotted all around Marina Bay and Esplanade Park. The sustainable light festival is organised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority and showcases light art installations created by both local and international artists.
It’s interesting to note that these light features are not just any ordinary lights. They have been designed with energy-saving lighting and are made from recycled or environmentally-friendly materials, with the aim to encourage the public to adopt sustainable habits. Several of the installations are also interactive – send a tweet, shine a flashlight using your phone, walk through it, and of course, plenty of photo opportunities!
i Light 2018 is still running until 1 April so be sure to make a visit before it ends!
Besides the light installations, there are other activities in the area you can visit such as the ongoing Prudential Marina Bay Carnival, GastroBeats and Art-Zoo Inflatable Park.
